Successful track record of growing revenues in existing accounts. - Will be required to work in cross-functional teams which may include: Horizontal technology leaders Subject Matter Experts Alliances. - Identify new opportunities that showcase Cognizant capabilities and hold strong promise for downstream IT work by working with industry/domain heads - Participating designing shaping and executing to the sales and revenue plans of the engagement and soliciting stake holder buy-in People/ Stakeholder management: - Communicates ideas or positions in a persuasive manner that builds support agreement or commitment - Takes actions that directly or indirectly influence others to create buy-in gain trust and motivate actions in others or win concessions without damaging relationships - Possesses the ability to facilitate win-win solutions when conflicts emerge Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience: - Extensive experience in handling large Programs with strong stakeholder management experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the portfolio teams - Should be a hands-on manager but must be able to work without losing sight of the big picture - Strong analytical problem solving and conflict management skills - Excellent people and team management skills - Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams - Experience in the areas of Resource demand management Talent Acquisition Staffing Learning and development IT systems along with strong understanding of how the technology industry is moving in this space. - Ability to build relationship negotiate and influence IT vision and strategy with business function leaders and IT leadership. - Program management skills and experience plus significant knowledge of project planning tools with evidence of practical application - A distinctive blend of business IT financial and communication skills. - Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role. - Excellent analytical strategic conceptual thinking strategic planning and execution skills. - Strong business acumen including industry domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units. - Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business and how they may be applied to the enterprise to drive d 3. Roles & Responsibilities :Description of the position and key Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to not only maintain but grow a large and strategically important engagement. This senior individual will interact with leadership of the engagement as well as peers within Cognizant. The right candidate will understand the business direction the trends related to the Telecom industry and domain and provide value-added solutions/suggestions to the client. Following are some of the other responsibilities - Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple large-scale projects. - Oversees managers working on client engagements within practice. - Reviews high-level deliverables across projects. - Minimizes our exposure and risk across multiple projects. - Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
