Job description

We are seeking a results-oriented Deputy Program Manager / Operations Lead to oversee daily operational execution across enterprise learning programs supporting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This position is contingent upon award.

Work Schedule and Location
  • This position is remote with periodic on-site presence in Silver Spring, MD

  • Clearance Requirement: Current or ability to obtainPublic Trust clearance required.

Who You Are & What Youโ€™ll Do

As the Deputy Program Manager / Operations Lead, you will partner directly with the Program Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day coordination, task area execution, resource allocation, and deliverable quality. You will maintain operational oversight over training intake tracking, LMS scheduling, staffing rosters, and cross-functional team workflows. You will serve as the secondary point of contact for government stakeholders and step into full leadership authority in the Program Managerโ€™s absence, preserving continuity of operations across all contractual task areas.

What You Bring to the Table - Requirements
  • Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience in federal program or operations management, with demonstrated success managing multi-functional service delivery environments in learning, human capital, or technical fields.

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration, education, public administration, or a related field.

  • Operational Expertise: Strong expertise in workflow coordination, schedule monitoring, risk tracking, subcontractor oversight, and quality assurance processes.

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interface effectively with federal government representatives and cross-functional project teams.

  • Process Controls: Experience implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), tracking training intake metrics, and supporting monthly status reporting.
