Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning Management System(LMS) - HR Technology.
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, LMS is the enterprise owner of Labcorp's learning management ecosystem, responsible for technical strategy, governance, operations, and continuous improvement of the LMS and related learning technologies. This role sits within HR Technology and partners closely with Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR Operations, QA & Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless, scalable, and modern learning experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise LMS platforms (Docebo preferred), strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving platform enhancements, integrations, and user adoption. Experience operating within a 21 CFR Part 11-validated environment is highly valued.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
  • Serve as the product owner for the LMS, shaping the roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, and driving platform evolution.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, including standards, processes, and documentation.

System Implementation
  • Lead, in partnership with our 3rd party implementation partners, the implementation of Labcorp's new learning platform, Docebo
  • Support sunsetting of current learning platform (Saba) by December 2026
  • Support archival activities related to Saba end-of-life in conjunction with Labcorp's archival and database teams

Platform Ownership & Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day LMS operations, including configuration, permissions, workflows, content management, and system performance.
  • Ensure the LMS and related systems meet 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, including validation, audit trails, and electronic signature controls.
  • Manage integrations with HRIS, SSO, content libraries, analytics tools, and other HR technology platforms.
  • Lead vendor relationships, contract discussions, and escalation management.

Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a team of LMS administrators, analysts, and learning technology specialists.
  • Set clear priorities, coach team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

Project & Implementation Management
  • Lead major LMS initiatives, including new platform implementations, migrations, upgrades, and enterprise-wide enhancements.
  • Oversee system validation activities (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ) where required.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.

Stakeholder Partnership
  • Collaborate with L&D, HR, Quality, Regulatory, and business leaders to design effective learning workflows and experiences.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and system configurations.
  • Provide guidance on learning technology best practices, capabilities, and emerging trends.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Oversee learning data governance, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Deliver insights that support compliance, talent development, and business decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 or more years' of experience in learning technology, LMS administration, or HR technology roles.
  • 3 or more years' expertise with Saba and/or Docebo; Docebo experience is preferred but experience with both is highly valued.
  • 3 or more years' experience working in a 21 CFR Part 11-validated environment, including system validation and audit readiness.
  • 2 or more years' demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams.

Additional Job Standards:
  • Proven experience leading LMS implementations, migrations, or major upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of LMS integrations (HRIS, SSO, content providers, analytics platforms).
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience integrating LMS with Workday HCM
  • Experience with additional learning platforms (Degreed, Cornerstone, Workday Learning, SCORM/xAPI tools).
  • Background in change management and user adoption strategies.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled learning tools and modern learning experience design.
