Talent Management Specialist

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Talent Management Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting and support key talent management initiatives, including onboarding, training, and employee development. This role is responsible for building strong candidate pipelines, delivering an effective onboarding experience, administering learning programs and systems, and serving as a trusted HR resource to employees and managers. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with a strong recruiting background who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for multiple open positions while maintaining timely communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Proactively source and engage active and passive candidates to support current and future hiring needs
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through networking, sourcing, and relationship-building
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Evaluate recruiting initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance hiring effectiveness
  • Lead the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and consistent employee experience
  • Maintain accurate and current job descriptions, including responsibilities, qualifications, and position expectations
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and employee training and development programs
  • Partner with managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and learning resources
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and other learning content as needed
  • Serve as an HR resource to employees and managers and assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and conflict resolution as appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information
  • Ensure recruiting and talent management practices comply with applicable employment laws and HR best practices
  • Support additional HR and talent management initiatives as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including meaningful responsibility for recruiting and onboarding
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple open positions and partnering with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Experience with employee onboarding and talent management programs
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with HCM/HRIS, applicant tracking, or learning management systems
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build effective relationships across the organization


Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience working in a multi-state environment
  • Experience with UKG Ready
  • Experience supporting employees and managers in a fast-paced, project-driven, creative, production, or professional services environment
  • Experience developing training content or facilitating employee and manager training
