Manufacturing Engineering
Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the Department of Manufacturing Engineering as a Lab Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Summer 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities

• Assists with general housekeeping
• Cleans and services the equipment as needed
• Aids in research

Shift Specifics

• Up to 25 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering

Proposed Salary
$15.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
