About This Role

Join our team as a vital member of our childcare staff, responsible for supporting multiple classrooms across the center.


What You'll Do
  • Deliver exceptional classroom support across all age groups, guaranteeing seamless daily operations and maintaining optimal ratio compliance
  • Establish and maintain a pristine, sanitary, and organized learning environment in accordance with stringent health, safety, and licensing standards
  • Execute crucial facility upkeep tasks, which include:
  • Sanitize dishes, utensils, and classroom materials in a hygienic manner
  • Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces, toys, and common areas to prevent the spread of germs
  • Effectively manage waste, including timely removal of trash and maintaining a spotless cleanliness of disposal areas
  • Collaborate with teachers to prepare and serve meals and snacks, adhering to nutritional guidelines and food safety protocols
  • Assist teachers with classroom transitions, activities, and behavioral guidance, promoting a supportive learning environment
  • Provide continuous supervision and engagement of children, fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere that encourages developmental growth
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold center standards, policies, and daily operational flow

Requirements
  • CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must pass background check
  • Previous childcare experience preferred (but not required)
  • Must be able to meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
