Specialty Contents Restoration Apprentice

Joining the Prism Specialties Team Provides:

• Learning & Development: Develop your skill set within the company by increasing your knowledge and experience in the world of art, electronics, and textile restoration.
A Day in the Life of a Restoration Apprentice:
• Assist in the restoration of art, electronics, and textiles
• Use company systems for inventory and warehouse management
• Pack out contents from locations affected by losses (e.g., fire, flood, or other disasters)
• Support team members with related tasks as needed
What We are Looking for in You:
• Entry-level position with ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds repeatedly during activities
• Comfortable working in non-climate controlled conditions and post-peril (fire, floods, etc.) environments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and able to drive box truck
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
This position is for part-time on an as-needed basis, with potential for increased hours based on aptitude and performance. Apprenticeship may lead to a full-time restoration technician role, though not guaranteed.
Prism Specialties specializes in the restoration of electronics, art, textiles, and documents for residential and commercial insurance claims.
Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Our teams specialize in recovery solutions for major disasters related to fire, water, lightning and vandalism. We provide high quality and cost-effective “hands-on” restoration services with appropriate turnaround times that contractors, claims professionals, and homeowners require.
