Summary:


The Training Specialist is responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs that support both field and headquarters employees. This role facilitates engaging learning experiences, develops training materials, and partners with operational leaders to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills necessary for success. The Training Specialist plays a key role in executing learning initiatives and supporting employee development across the organization.


Training Facilitation


  • Facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs for field and headquarters employees.
  • Deliver onboarding, operational, systems, leadership, and professional development training.
  • Adapt delivery methods to meet the needs of diverse audiences and learning styles.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and knowledge retention.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and reinforcement to support skill application on the job.

Training Content Development


  • Design, develop, and update training materials, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, and reference resources.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to create accurate, relevant, and effective learning content.
  • Translate business processes and operational procedures into learner-friendly training programs.
  • Ensure training materials remain current and aligned with organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles and best practices into all training programs.

Stakeholder & Field Support

  • Support the implementation of new learning initiatives and organizational changes.

Learning Technology Support


  • Upload, maintain, and organize learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assist with curriculum assignments, learner tracking, and training completion monitoring.
  • Generate and review training reports as needed.
  • Partner with the Training Coordinator to ensure accurate learning records and data integrity.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in training, employee development, or learning & development
  • Experience facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and blended training
  • Experience developing training materials, SOPs, job aids, and facilitator guides
  • Strong presentation, communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Experience partnering with managers, field leaders, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with LMS platforms, learner tracking, and training reporting
