About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. As a Lead Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
The ideal candidate is a dedicated educator who enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and families, leading a classroom team, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
  • Maintain consistent daily routines that encourage learning and independence.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities and children's progress.
  • Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in a childcare, preschool, or early childhood education setting required.
  • Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or in a classroom leadership role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and fellow educators.

Preferred Skills
