The Floater Assistant Teacher/Kitchen Aide is an integral member of the educational team, responsible for supporting Lead Teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. This role involves rotating between classrooms as needed to ensure consistent coverage and support. The Floater Assistant Teacher collaborates with other Assistant Teachers and family members to implement a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters positive outcomes for children of all abilities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, maintaining a safe and organized learning space, promoting social-emotional development, and helping to individualize learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of each child.

As a Floater Teacher Assistant/Kitchen Aide, you will nurture responsive teacher-child relationships through the CLASS™ framework, cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment, and deliver age-appropriate, standards-aligned instruction. You will monitor developmental progress through ongoing assessments, tailor learning experiences to support the needs of all children, and actively engage families as collaborative partners in their child's growth. You'll also participate in continuous professional development and contribute to a team culture focused on reflection, learning, and improvement.
