Summary:

The Commercial Lines Learning Strategist is an important part of the Enterprise Learning & Strategy Team and has accountability for developing an enterprise Commercial Lines learning strategy, including the design and delivery of a robust curriculum for Commercial Lines team members across HUB International. This role will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Learning Strategy and partner closely with senior Commercial Lines leaders to gain knowledge of enterprise and regional Commercial Lines strategies to ensure alignment of the Commercial Lines workforce across HUB.

This role will lead the Commercial Lines Learning & Development team. This leader is a strong performance and business consultant who can develop solutions and programming. This is important as they build learning experiences that increase knowledge, skills and abilities that are directly tied to the Commercial Lines business strategy. This leader has experience orchestrating organizationally complex work and demonstrating business impact through data. The right candidate for this role is energized to be hands-on, with a willingness to analyze and build, unafraid to roll-up their sleeves to get projects done.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute enterprise Commercial Lines learning & development learning paths that drive consistency while accounting for enterprise and regional needs.
  • Develop a robust training curriculum that builds the technical and industry knowledge and skill needed for our teams to support the Commercial Lines strategy, and drive exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Continuously improve the design, development, implementation and evaluation of Commercial Lines learning and development programs, content, and tools.
  • Drive the training effectiveness and adjust programs based on the business needs and program evaluation.
  • Provide strategic consulting support to the Commercial Lines executives, HUB senior leaders, and learning/HR teams to build strong understanding of business needs, strategy and to build a strategic professional network and relationships with stakeholders/ SMEs across the organization
  • Build strong relationships with other members of the Talent Function, HR Advisors, and other key business stakeholders
  • Drive global and/or regional learning and development projects, including associated communications and change management
  • Manage Commercial Lines learning and development team; ability to provide ongoing coaching and support to improve performance and impact of the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
  • 10 years professional experience with a mix of training/OD and commercial lines experience. Experience working in a multi-national company preferred.
  • Detailed knowledge of training and learning practices and technologies (Canva, Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, etc.)
  • Proven, effective facilitation skills to audiences of various degrees of sophistication and size with the ability to deliver content in a variety of modalities
  • Experience in managing, leading and coaching individuals and teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people across different levels, organizations, and time zones
  • Experience influencing and consulting with executives and SMEs. Experience in a large or decentralized organization is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to assess needs, administer programs, and manage complex projects
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems/tools (Cornerstone On Demand experience is a plus)

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
