Position Summary:

The Program Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects and programs to ensure alignment with client expectations, goals, and objectives. This role involves a blend of strategic oversight, tactical execution, and client, vendor, and internal stakeholder relationship management. The Program Manager, in partnership with the Strategic Consultant(s), supports the coordination of activities, manages project and program scope, schedule, and tools/templates, and ensures the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes.


The Program Manager is assigned to only evaluation projects or only conversion projects.


Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Strategic Consultant(s), manage program workstreams to ensure timely and effective completion of interconnected project activities by developing, implementing, and maintaining project plans and tools, assisting in the management of project scope and scheduling and coordinating cross-functional project activities with clients and Engage fi and/or vendor resources.
  • Communicates program and individual project progress to client and/or internal resources by tracking, preparing, and presenting internal and client-facing reports and presentations to illustrate program progress against expected results, including reporting and tracking action items. 
  • Escalates proposed modifications to program/project scope and communicates approved changes to stakeholders.
  • Internally escalates program risk issues pertaining to project deadlines and activities, strategizes with client and Strategic Consultant(s) to appropriately resolve issues, and successfully facilitates approved modifications to project plan(s) and overall program.
  • Provisions, manages, and maintains program and interconnected project management documents and related tools and templates, including but not limited to Smartsheet tools, PowerPoint presentations, MS Word and Excel documents, and Teams/SharePoint files.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the ongoing development and enhancement of EFI best practices, project tools, and overall process improvements to gain efficiencies and add value for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Supports implementation, adoption, and usage of new tools, processes, and technology and assists in creating and maintaining internal standard operating procedures. 
  • Accurately tracks and records project billing hours and budgets as directed in the appropriate technology/tool. 
  • Supports consultants and the Consulting Services evaluation and conversion teams directly with process or project issues as requested.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of related project management experience in the credit union, banking, payments, or related vendor industry with project/program management proficiency preferably related to vendor and system evaluations and selection.
  • Experience in working with solutions involving enterprise-grade software applications and project management activities. 
  • Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
  • Technical knowledge - Smartsheet, HubSpot, resource management and tracking applications, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, and the ability to learn other software programs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 

Position Type/Expected hours of Work:

Full Time/ 40 hours per week

  • 10-20% travel required based on client and business needs.
