Job description

Job Summary

The Learning Consultant provides targeted academic support through consultation, intervention planning, and collaboration with classroom teachers. This role focuses on identifying student learning needs, recommending instructional strategies, and supporting differentiated instruction to promote student success in a Christ-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to support differentiated instruction and student learning needs
  • Assist in identifying students who may benefit from academic interventions or additional support
  • Provide consultation on instructional strategies, classroom accommodations, and learning plans
  • Support implementation of intervention plans and monitor student progress
  • Participate in student support meetings and contribute to documentation as needed
  • Partner with families, teachers, and administration to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Support professional development and instructional best practices as requested
  • Uphold and integrate Catholic values in all professional interactions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (required)
  • Valid teaching certificate or educational licensure (required or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs preferred
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, interventions, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the School Principal and works closely with classroom teachers and support staff.
