Job description

As a Director of Client Success at Avèro Advisors, you will be pivotal in steering our consulting services towards greater heights of success. You will leverage your expertise to guide organizations through the maze of digital transformation and ERP system implementations. This role is not just about providing solutions; it's about being a visionary leader who can foresee the future of public sector consulting and drive significant, impactful change. This is a full-time hybrid role located in the United States with flexibility for remote work and the need for travel based on client needs. The Director of Client Success will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of projects related to client engagements. The Director of Client Success will oversee and mentor project managers, provide guidance to client stakeholders, manage project budgets, and lead project teams. Day-to-day tasks will include communicating with clients, coordinating project plans, and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage high-impact consulting teams, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and deliver tangible results.
  • Engage with senior/executive stakeholders in local government, building strong relationships and understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Drive the development and implementation of innovative strategies that leverage technology to enhance public sector efficiency and service delivery.
  • Mentor and develop a team of project managers, leads, and consultants, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Contribute to the growth of Avèro Advisors by identifying new business opportunities and enhancing our service offerings.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Project management, program management, or consulting experience
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Adept at managing resources and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in management consulting, with a strong focus on digital transformation and/or ERP implementations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving excellence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of engaging effectively with diverse clients.
  • A strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the public sector.
