The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. Weโ€™re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, youโ€™ll: 

  • Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
  • Assist in observing and assessing childrenโ€™s development using approved tools
  • Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development

  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
