Make a meaningful difference in a child's earliest years!
Do you love working with young children and have experience in early childhood education? Chambliss Center for Children is looking for a part-time Teacher Assistant to support our Early Head Start classrooms (ages 8 weeks-3 years). This role is ideal for someone with a CDA and early childhood background who wants a consistent, part-time schedule while still making a big impact.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay: Starts at $13/hour with a CDA
Benefits: Paid sick leave, optional dental/vision insurance, discounted childcare
What You'll Do
  • Support lead teachers during lunch coverage and throughout the day as needed
  • Step into classrooms (infants, 1s, and 2s) to maintain smooth routines and ratios
  • Engage children in nurturing, age-appropriate play and learning activities
  • Help create a safe, clean, and responsive classroom environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Assist with daily care routines and respond to children's needs with patience and care
