Teacher pay rate: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with ECD 101 to an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. (Homeschool diplomas must be through an accredited association)
  • At least 6 months experience as a teacher in a licensed day care, childcare center or preschool required
  • ECD 101, CDA, or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education required for lead teachers.
  • Successful completion of state background check and health assessments.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
