Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy #33 is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and energetic Assistant Georgia Pre-K Teacherto join our team. We are a 3-Star Quality Rated program committed to providing a high-quality early childhood education experience that prepares children for kindergarten success.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Georgia Pre-K Teacher in implementing the Georgia Pre-K curriculum and daily lesson plans.
  • Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, playground time, meals, and transitions.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
  • Observe and document children's progress as directed by the Lead Teacher.
  • Ensure compliance with all Bright from the Start, Georgia Pre-K, and Kids 'R' Kids policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher requirements and possess one of the following:
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; OR
  • Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education; OR
  • Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field; OR
  • Be actively enrolled in an approved program leading to one of the above credentials.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass the Bright from the Start comprehensive background check.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a Georgia Pre-K classroom.
  • Knowledge of GELDS (Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards).
  • Experience with classroom documentation and child assessments.
