Job Description:
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting a wide range of Human Resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement. This position partners with leaders and employees across the organization to deliver HR programs, ensure policy compliance, and support a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers on HR policies, programs, and workplace concerns.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Partner with management on performance management, corrective action, talent selection, employee development, and retention strategies.
  • Administer and enforce Company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws.
  • Prepare disciplinary documentation and support voluntary and involuntary separations in a manner that mitigates organizational risk.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring coordination.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions and organizational charts.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support workforce planning and staffing needs.

Learning & Development
  • Assist with training and development initiatives, including job analysis and training needs assessments.
  • Coordinate, schedule, track, and facilitate employee and management training programs.
  • Maintain training records and support administration of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop and update training materials, workbooks, guides, and other learning resources.

HR Administration & Compliance
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within HR systems.
  • Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and policy updates.
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and annual HR processes as needed.

Employee Engagement & Special Projects
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects, including HR technology enhancements, process redesign, and organizational initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and presentations to support business decision-making.

Job Details:
  • Location: Vernon, CA
  • Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt
  • Pay Range: $75,000 to $85,000, bonus eligible
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
