We are currently seeking a Resident Care Cook and Attendant who will attend to the dietary needs of residents by preparing and serving meals to our residents.


Expected Schedule: Part-Time, 32 hours/week

Shifts Rotate Every Other Week (Morning - 6:00am - 2:00pm & Evening - 1:00pm - 9:00pm)

Every Other Weekend Required 


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of meals with special attention to special diet needs
  • Prepare, set, and clean dining room at each meal serving and serve meals to residents
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Demonstrate quality customer service while interacting with residents including respectful communication

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

  • No education requirements
  • 1 year of experience supporting, working with, or caring for seniors
  • 1 year of experience in food service industry preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines preferred
