Assistant General Manager
Goldfish Swim School - Marlborough, MA
Salary: $52,000-$57,000 per year

About the Role:
Goldfish Swim School is looking for an energetic, motivated leader to join our management team. As Assistant General Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to oversee daily operations, develop employees, deliver exceptional customer service, and help create a fun, safe, and positive experience for every family.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily operations of the swim school
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve concerns
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee performance
  • Support swim lesson quality and instructor development
  • Oversee front desk, retail, birthday parties, and facility operations
  • Assist with marketing, community outreach, and social media
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company standards
  • Help create a positive, engaging workplace culture

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with children and families
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two (2) or more years of management or leadership experience
  • Experience in aquatics, childcare, recreation, hospitality, education, or customer service
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain through company paid training)
