Training Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Mid-City Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days onsite / 3 days remote Employment Type: Temp to hire Pay Rate: $25/hour About the Role We’re partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit to hire a Training Coordinator with a strong Learning & Development/training background. This role will support the HR team by designing and developing engaging internal training content that is clear, approachable, and anything but boring. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating learning experiences, translating information into digestible training materials, and bringing structure and creativity to employee development programs.

If you’ve supported L&D initiatives, onboarding, or internal training before and want a role where your work has an immediate impact, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Partner closely with HR to design, develop, and update internal training and learning materials Support Learning & Development initiatives, including onboarding, employee training, and internal programs Turn policies, procedures, and HR initiatives into engaging, easy-to-understand training content Create and maintain training materials such as presentations, guides, job aids, videos, and visual assets Refresh and enhance existing training content to improve clarity, engagement, and consistency Incorporate feedback from HR and internal stakeholders to continuously improve learning materials Assist with special training and HR-related projects as needed What You Bring Experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, instructional support, or HR training Hands-on experience creating training or learning materials (onboarding, internal training, SOPs, etc.) Strong written and visual communication skills with an eye for clarity and engagement Comfort using tools like Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar content creation platforms Ability to take complex information and translate it into simple, learner-friendly content Organized, collaborative, and open to feedback Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
