About the Role
The Learning Experience Omaha West is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director to support daily operations, drive enrollment growth, and ensure exceptional experiences for children, families, and staff.
This position is ideal for a childcare leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys team leadership, family engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Enrollment & Family Engagement
  • Respond to enrollment inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule and conduct tours for prospective families.
  • Improve tour-to-enrollment conversion rates.
  • Follow up with leads and build strong family relationships.
Operations & Compliance
  • Support daily center operations, staffing, and classroom coverage.
  • Maintain licensing compliance and safety standards.
  • Ensure classrooms and common areas remain organized, clean, and tour-ready.
  • Conduct regular center walkthroughs and address operational issues proactively.
Staff Leadership
  • Coach and support teachers and staff.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Promote accountability, professionalism, and high-quality classroom practices.
Scheduling & Facility Management
  • Create staff schedules that maintain ratio compliance.
  • Monitor labor efficiency and classroom coverage.
