Job description

Training Program Assistant provides essential day-to-day support for learners, instructors, and the Learning & Development team. This role ensures smooth opera on of the Learning Management System (LMS) and Competency Management System (CMS), supports content management, and helps maintain a high-quality learning experience across the organization. Assess current systems, processes, or programs to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or compliance issues.
Serve as the first point of contact for learner and instructor inquiries.
Troubleshoot access issues, course enrollment problems, and system errors.
Manage and resolve help desk tickets related to the LMS and CMS.
Upload, organize, and maintain digital learning content (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, videos, PDFs).
Collaborate with instructional designers and eLearning developers to support course deployment.
Support the configuration on and maintenance of the Competency Management System.
Assist in mapping learning ac vi es to competency frameworks and job roles.
Test new courses, features, and LMS/CMS updates before deployment.
Verify functionality across browsers, devices, and user roles.
Report bugs and usability issues to the LMS/CMS administrator or vendor.
Generate and distribute reports on course completion, compliance, learner engagement, and system usage.
Support competency tracking and reporting to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Assist in identifying skill gaps and training needs based on CMS data. Job Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced comfort with PowerPoint and Publisher.
Familiarity with help desk cke ng systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
Knowledge of process mapping and design tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Adobe XD, Figma).
Ability to generate, interpret, and present training reports and dashboards.
Outstanding verbal and written communication on skills, with the ability to present, facilitate, and clarify complex information on effectively.
