Esta oportunidad de empleo es para contratacion directa con nuestro socio - Boys and Girls de Puerto Rico.

Descripcion:

El/La Floater de HS o EHS trabajara en colaboracion con el maestro(a) para asegurar el funcionamiento exitoso de un salon de clases de ninos(as) de HS o EHS. Tambien trabaja con un equipo de asistentes de maestros(as) del salon de clases y miembros de la familia para implementar el plan de estudios para lograr resultados para los ninos(as) de todas las habilidades.

El/La Floater de HS o EHS sera evaluado en ultima instancia en funcion de una combinacion de habilidades, disposiciones y comportamientos, algunos de los cuales estan relacionados con el area de servicio especifica de este puesto y otros que representan las expectativas generales de todos los empleados.

Responsabilidades:

  • Utiliza el conocimiento de los principios del crecimiento y desarrollo infantil para trabajar con los ninos y comunicarse con las partes interesadas internas y externas.

  • Mantiene un plan de estudios y un entorno de aprendizaje centrados en el nino que fomenta la interaccion social positiva, la participacion activa en el aprendizaje y la automotivacion para promover el desarrollo en todos los dominios de los ninos de todas las capacidades.

  • Aborda los comportamientos desafiantes observando para determinar las posibles causas del comportamiento, implementando medidas preventivas, ensenando al nino nuevas habilidades sociales y de comunicacion y asociandose con las familias para apoyar al nino en el hogar.

  • Utiliza observaciones de ninos y notas anecdoticas para documentar el progreso de los ninos e individualizar el curriculo.

  • Realizar tareas como:

  • Coordinacion de comunicacion y servicios
  • Mantenimiento de registros e informes
  • Monitoreo continuo / Autoevaluacion
  • Planifica e implementa experiencias de aprendizaje que promuevan el desarrollo intelectual y fisico de los ninos, incluida la mejora de la preparacion de los ninos para la escuela mediante el desarrollo de su alfabetizacion y conciencia fonemica, impresa y aritmetica, su comprension y uso del lenguaje, su comprension y uso de conocimientos cada vez mas complejos. y vocabulario variado, su apreciacion por los libros y su capacidad para resolver problemas.
  • Establece y mantiene un entorno de aprendizaje seguro y saludable.
  • Apoya el desarrollo social y emocional de los ninos.
  • Fomenta la participacion de las familias de los ninos en un programa Head Start/ Early Head Start y apoyar el desarrollo de las relaciones entre los ninos y sus familias.
  • Participa en reuniones, eventos y capacitacion asignados segun sea necesario.

Requisitos:

  • CDA o inscrito para completar dentro de 2 anos; o tener un titulo en cualquier campo o estar inscrito en un programa que conduzca a dicho titulo.

  • Experiencia previa con ninos de 0 a 5 anos.

  • Se requiere un examen fisico y verificacion de antecedentes para este puesto.
