Job description

Ergon is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise learning and capability-building programs. This role will help develop practical, engaging learning experiences that strengthen employee and manager effectiveness across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong facilitation and program execution capability, along with the ability to influence development outcomes across multiple business functions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to scalable leadership and professional development initiatives that directly support business performance and organizational growth.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-6 years of experience in learning & development, organizational development, training, or related field
  • Experience designing and delivering learning or development programs
  • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or group learning experiences
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience working with learning systems, platforms, or development tools

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in learning and development or talent development
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-wide leadership development programs
  • Experience supporting manager capability, coaching, and performance development initiatives
  • Experience partnering across multiple business units or functions in a complex organization
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and development strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and HR Business Partners on development priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience evaluating program effectiveness and learning outcomes
  • Experience managing external learning vendors or facilitators preferred

Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engaging leadership, professional development, and skills-based learning programs across multiple employee levels and business units.
  • Deliver high-quality in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning experiences that drive participant engagement, knowledge application, and measurable development outcomes.
  • Design and customize learning materials, participant resources, facilitator guides, and development tools aligned to business and capability needs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and business leaders to support manager capability, employee development, and organizational learning priorities.
  • Translate business challenges and capability gaps into practical, scalable learning solutions and development experiences.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback, business input, and learning outcomes, while continuously improving content and delivery methods.
  • Coordinate and execute learning program logistics, including scheduling, communication, participant management, materials preparation, and learning system updates.
  • Support enterprise learning initiatives by maintaining consistent program quality, reinforcing development best practices, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
