Senior Cas Associate
We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Senior CAS Associate to join our growing Client Accounting Services (CAS) team in our Tupelo office. This is a full-time, salaried, 100% in-office role designed for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, engaging in client interaction, and leading others.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted accounting partner to a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accurate financial statements, providing practical insights, and helping businesses operate more confidently. You will also play a key leadership role by reviewing the work of team members and supporting their development, all while maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients.

As a Senior CAS Associate, you will:
- Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for assigned clients, ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for client review and discussion.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and payroll accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support client onboarding activities by assisting with the setup of new accounting systems, chart of accounts, and the transition of historical financial data.
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, answering accounting questions and supporting ongoing client relationships with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Utilize advanced accounting tools and technology, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, to support efficient workflows, accurate reporting, and client deliverables.
The ideal candidate brings both technical strength and interpersonal confidence:
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
- Prior experience in Client Accounting Services (CAS) or outsourced accounting environments.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Full-time, salaried position
- In-office role (Monday–Friday) – this is not a remote position
- Oversight and review of other team members' work is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and client communication are essential for success
