Job description

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Staff Development to lead our organization's commitment to fostering a high-performing and continuously evolving workforce. This pivotal role will provide leadership and support to a team responsible for designing and implementing training initiatives, ensuring programs are aligned with organizational objectives, and cultivate a culture of learning and growth. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of education principles to drive impactful training and development initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field required.
    • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in learning and development, training, organizational development, talent development, financial services, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience leading projects, programs, or teams, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
    • Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate training and development initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Preferred Certifications
    • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD)
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
    • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
