Job description

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an LMS Operations & Data Strategist to support global learning operations by driving Learning Management System (LMS) administration, data analysis, compliance governance, and operational excellence. This role partners with HR, IT, Legal, Learning & Development, and business leaders worldwide to ensure learning programs are delivered efficiently, training data remains accurate, and compliance requirements are met.

The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and experienced in LMS administration, reporting, and learning operations within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve global learning operations that support LMS effectiveness, compliance, and business readiness.
  • Troubleshoot complex LMS issues related to learner access, training assignments, content, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Provide advanced Tier 2 LMS support, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Support Corporate Required Training (CRT) assignments, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Partner with HR, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure learning programs meet governance and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze learner and training data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics that support business decisions and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain data integrity across learner records, course assignments, completions, learner groups, and system integrations.
  • Coordinate course setup, testing, launch, maintenance, and reporting with instructional designers, SMEs, vendors, and business partners.
  • Support the full learning lifecycle, including course administration, reporting, learner support, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, job aids, governance documentation, and best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation and training compliance records.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating with global stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Learning Operations, LMS Administration, Training Operations, Learning Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or global Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with compliance training, Corporate Required Training (CRT), audit readiness, and governance.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience developing dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data management.
  • Experience managing learning data, system integrations, and large datasets.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing standard work, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Legal, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global learning organizations.
  • Experience with learning technologies, LMS implementations, or system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of learning governance, compliance, and reporting best practices.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or automotive environments.
