Job description

Location: All Locations in the United States 

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote or Hybrid

A Day in the Life 

The Senior Learning Experience Specialist designs immersive learning experiences, engaging learning activities, and course content that provide relevant and engaging skill development, grounded in practical application. This role focuses on identifying learning needs, developing effective training programs, and assessing learning outcomes to support employee growth and organizational objectives. This role also plays a critical consultative role, consulting with Relationship Managers and Leadership Development to ensure that learning solutions have a learner-centered focus. 

A typical day as a Senior Learning Experience Specialist might include the following: 

  • Partners with others across the Learning and Development function to ensure effective staff learning experiences.
  • Designs, delivers, maintains, and updates training throughout the Firm, incorporating varied media formats.
  • Assesses needs of staff in the Firm based on department and industry goals.
  • Leads discussions with stakeholders to assess learning needs, develop training materials, and support and enhance learning delivery by applying principles of learning design concepts and models.
  • Builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships as the primary point of contact, proactively influencing and negotiating to align learning objectives with business needs in broader strategic discussions.
  • Applies strong instructional design skills for both instructor-led and eLearning formats to drive performance improvement.
  • Delivers timely, high-quality development and deployment of learning materials, in alignment with defined SOPs, ADA requirements, and Compliance requirements. 
  • Develops and maintains eLearning programs, guides, job aids, and other digital learning materials across multiple technology platforms with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs by assessing learning outcomes and gathering feedback. Integrates learner feedback and performance insights to continuously improve learning.
  • Assists in the development of the learning data strategy for key programs, leveraging data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and deliver insights to leadership.
  • Reviews deliverables, testing for accuracy, grammar, functionality, and adherence to ADA and Compliance guidelines. .
  • Collaborates with the Learning Experience Manager to support process improvements, develop and maintain project plans, and provide additional team support as needed.
  • Tracks project plans and provides regular updates on project performance.
  • Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
  • Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Who You Are 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, other related field, or equivalent work experience required.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in learning and development, including experience with the Articulate Storyline suite to design and deliver training for adult learners.

  • Experience leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning or training programs in an organizational setting.

  • Experience leading collaborative discussions with stakeholders to assess learning needs and develop training solutions.

  • Experience developing both soft skills and technical training, for delivery in multiple training formats. 
  • Prior experience working with video editing tools preferred.

  • Maintains current knowledge of key applications used in developing eLearning.
  • Knowledge of learning design concepts and models (such as ADDIE and Adult Learning Theory).
  • Specialized knowledge in learning using technology and knowledge in multiple software applications.
  • Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, user friendly text and visuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including soft skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to independently create, iterate, and deliver high quality work with ambiguous requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and approaches when new information arises.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.

Compensation 

$85,000-$115,000

 

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
