1st shift: 6:45AM TO 2:45PM
2nd shift: 2:45PM to 10:45PM
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production line workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and teamwork.
· Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and provide feedback to team members to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
· Coordinate production activities on the assigned production line, including setup with the Machine Operator, and proper line operation, and with the technical maintenance team the machinery and equipment maintenance and repair.
· Ensure smooth workflow and efficient utilization of resources to meet production targets and customer delivery schedules.
· Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
· Conduct regular quality checks, audits, and inspections to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities in production processes.
· Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance with safety regulations and procedures in all production activities.
· Conduct safety training, inspections, and incident investigations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
· Ensure the setup of all the main and auxiliary equipment required as per the PMAP to complete the order
· Validate the staged work order for accuracy of the BOM items – compare the staged items with the TBOM and the FG standard.
· Validate the physical quantity of the product to finish the work order, before closing the order.
· Perform line clearance operation successfully following the line clearance procedure.
· Fill out the Work Order documentation immediately upon completion of the production run.
· Monitor the core employee's attendance and report any absences or tardiness.
· Work with the Quality Assurance team to guarantee compliance with quality requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree or significant (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration) or Equivalent Experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE
· 1 to 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a cosmetics or pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment
· Minimum 3 years of extensive experience in applying Lean Manufacturing Principles in an operational setting (Prefer).
· Proven experience in production management or manufacturing leadership roles, with a track record of achieving production targets and implementing process improvements.
· Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
· In-depth knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
· Proficiency in production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.
· Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
· Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to analyze data, present findings, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
