Lead Teaching Pastor - West Madison Bible Church

West Madison Bible Church, an independent church, is actively seeking a full-time lead pastor to support our church's growth, facilitate the evangelism efforts with in our local community as well as our worldwide missions, to be our long-term spiritual leader, and promote the spiritual advancement of the body of Christ.

Job requirements will include…
  • 1.) Preaching the inerrancy and authority of the Word of God from the Bible every Sunday
  • 2.) Provide pastoral care including visiting the sick and shut-ins, as well as counseling and support to those in need
  • 3.) Overseeing ceremonies including weddings, funerals, and baptisms
  • 4.) Actively participate in evangelistic outreach to the community
  • 5.) Developing and mentoring leadership within the church
  • 6.) Be actively involved with church leadership and staff
Job qualifications include…
  • 1.) Have a minimum of 5 years of ministry experience including preaching the Word of God in a congregational setting
  • 2.) Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a conservative Bible college
  • 3.) Have good communication skills including working with others, willing to take initiative, and conflict resolution
  • 4.) Have a passion for equipping the believers and evangelizing the lost
  • 5.) Have an active prayer life and deep desire for their continuing growth and study in God’s Word
  • 6.) Have at least a basic working knowledge of current technology
