Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software QA Analyst / Test Lead who will be responsible for developing and executing software test plans, leading a team of testers, and ensuring that software products meet quality standards. The role involves documenting defects, managing defect meetings, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing, modifying, and executing software test plans, test scenarios, Defines and Solves test data needs, develops automated scripts and programs for testing to ensure the outgoing software and technical products meet and exceed quality standards.
• Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their root causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software engineers and product owners. Participate in the review of software design. Understands software architecture and quality risks and leads test strategy development.
• Lead team of testers in support of multiple projects/corporate initiatives to provide test planning and test execution activities. Directly responsible for analyzing the complex requirements, operational problems, specifications and change requests. Produce test plans and test cases to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Monitor accurate and thorough test cases, scripts and data with pre-determined results within specified scheduled dates. Perform test execution of all assigned test cases. Research and provide technical support on operational/test system defects and propose solutions.
• Lead and manage project defect management meetings and triage the issues/defects found during the test execution. Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to research, analyze and propose solutions to the most complex technical, operational and test scenarios. Communicate the project and test status to management. Provide and document issues and risks associated with the testing effort to the project stakeholders and leadership.
• Guide and mentor team of testers in support of the projects and day-to-day to testing effort. This also includes supporting and working with associates, contractors and other third-party resources.
• Champion and assist in the mission and objectives to follow the best practices and processes set forth by leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8 years Software design, development, testing and software requirement management.
• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
• Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time.
• Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

• Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Expert.
• Knowledge of software test requirements and protocols, Expert.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, Expert.
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems, Expert.
