Job Title: Press Break Operator Location: Berea, Ohio The hiring company, located in the southwest suburb of Cleveland Ohio is looking to hire Press Brake operators - The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating the Press Brake machine and other associated machines following the company's guidelines and standards. The individual in this position is expected to plan, select, layout, position, and align dyes in the machine ram and bed of the Press Brake to ensure efficient and accurate production. Key Responsibilities: Operate the Press Brake and other relevant machinery following company protocols.

Read, interpret, and execute tasks based on technical drawings and blueprints. Plan and select appropriate tools and dies based on the specifics of each job. Perform the layout and align dyes in the machine ram and bed of the Press Brake to ensure precision.

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the machine to ensure its optimum performance. Measure and inspect completed pieces using manual tools, including micrometers, to ensure products meet specified dimensions. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production workflow. Continuously update knowledge on the latest machining techniques and industry best practices. Requirements Knowledge of Fabrication Process: Should have a deep understanding of the entire fabrication process, including the working principles of the Press Brake and related machinery.

Blueprint Reading: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings to determine the specifics of the fabrication task. Math skills: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to calculate dimensions, angles, and tolerances. Manual Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using various manual tools, especially micrometers, for precise measurements and inspections of produced pieces.

Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous to ensure that each piece produced meets the required specifications. Safety Awareness: Should be fully aware of and compliant with safety regulations to avoid accidents. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify issues with the machine or the fabrication process and determine solutions.

Communication Skills: Should be able to effectively communicate with team members and superiors regarding any concerns, suggestions, or updates. Adaptability: Must be flexible and willing to adapt to new techniques or company guidelines. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience using a Press Brake, Rolls, or other fabrication equipment. Certification in machine operation or related fields is a plus. Must have strong math skills to convert fractions into decimals.
