Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking a Campus Integration & Multi-EPC Coordination Lead - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing to join our team in TX, AL, VA, PA, OH, IN, and WI.

Our Pharmaceutical team is growing! The Campus Integration Director/Multi-EPC Coordination Lead serves as the owner's central integration authority across all engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and infrastructure contractors delivering a major pharmaceutical manufacturing campus. This role ensures alignment between numerous delivery organizations by establishing governance, resolving interface issues, driving coordinated execution, and maintaining accountability across the full program ecosystem. Unlike traditional project leadership positions focused on a single contract or work package, this role oversees the interactions between projects, contractors, and stakeholders. Success is measured by how effectively program interfaces are managed, risks are proactively resolved, and overall campus delivery objectives are achieved without requiring Lilly leadership to mediate contractor disputes. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and lead one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing investments in North America while working alongside industry-leading professionals on a career-defining program on a greenfield campus. We are offering a full-time position with AtkinsRealis that provides the opportunity to lead complex, high-profile programs, collaborate with world-class delivery teams, and receive a highly competitive compensation package with robust benefits.

Your role
  • Serve as the owner's lead integration authority across all prime contractors, EPC firms, construction managers, and supporting delivery partners.

  • Establish and maintain campus-wide governance, interface management, and coordination processes.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive contractor interface management framework.

  • Ensure alignment of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activities across all projects and contractors.

  • Lead cross-contractor coordination meetings and executive issue resolution sessions.

  • Identify, document, assign, and track interface risks and responsibilities between delivery organizations.

  • Drive resolution of contractor disputes and scope boundary conflicts before escalation to client leadership.

  • Establish accountability structures that clearly define ownership for shared systems, campus infrastructure, utilities, logistics, and operational handoffs.

  • Coordinate integrated campus sequencing and construction execution strategies across all workstreams.

  • Validate alignment of contractor schedules with campus-wide milestones and operational readiness requirements.

  • Partner with Project Controls teams to identify schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and critical-path impacts.

  • Facilitate alignment between engineering, construction, commissioning, validation, and startup organizations.

  • Lead management of campus-wide constraints including logistics, utility tie-ins, shutdowns, access requirements, and shared resources.

  • Develop executive-level reporting that highlights integration risks, interface conflicts, and mitigation plans.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to Lilly leadership regarding program-wide coordination challenges and decisions.

  • Drive implementation of lessons learned and best practices across all project teams.

  • Support the development and enforcement of common standards, procedures, and governance models across the campus program.

  • Ensure consistent communication pathways across client, contractor, and stakeholder organizations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client leaders, contractor executives, and program stakeholders.

  • Promote a collaborative, one-team culture while maintaining accountability among independent delivery organizations.

About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Program Management, or related field.

  • 20+ years of professional experience (BS) managing major capital programs.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading integration, program management, or portfolio management functions on highly complex programs.

  • Experience managing delivery involving multiple EPC contractors and major capital project teams.

  • Demonstrated experience on programs exceeding $1 billion in capital value.

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; semiconductor, data center, EV battery, chemical processing, energy, advanced manufacturing, and other complex industrial sectors will also be considered.

  • Experience establishing governance structures, interface management systems, and executive reporting frameworks.

  • Experience with integrated master scheduling and multi-contractor schedule coordination.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex stakeholder conflicts and competing priorities.

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple independent contractors within a large-scale owner organization.

  • Experience building and leading high-performing cross-functional teams.

  • Experience supporting program governance at executive and steering committee levels.

  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Deep understanding of project delivery lifecycle from feasibility through startup and operational readiness.

  • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation, and turnover processes.

  • Ability to influence without direct authority across large, matrixed organizations.

  • Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, highly visible client environments.

  • Willingness to travel and maintain significant on-site engagement as required.
