Era Living is seeking a full-time Lead Food Server to become the newest member of our Dining Services team located in our University House Issaquah Community, Issaquah, WA.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Lead Food Server is responsible for ensuring that all guests to our full service restaurant are treated to a world class dining experience. This position supports the Dining Services Director with supervising shifts, participating in interviews, training new staff, reconciliations, some record keeping and inventory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform food server functions in a health care setting
  • Ability to ensure and oversee that dining room is ready for service at evening meal
  • Ability to use good interpersonal skills when interacting with Residents, family members, visitors and co-workers
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English, required
  • Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:
  • First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
  • Washington State Alcohol Permit or able to obtain within 30 days of hire (if applicable)
