Position: Lead Financial Advisor

We are looking for someone who wants to relocate to beautiful, rural southern Ohio and be part of a thriving small-town community. We have a solid local client base that we need help servicing. If this fits your lifestyle, you could be a big fish in a small pond with a great career path.


You will be responsible for delivering value to existing and new clients from understanding each clients unique needs, creating financial plans for clients, structuring the investment portfolio that aligns with the plan, analyzing insurance needs and solutions, and cash flow planning.


We have a team approach, and you will collaborate with your client advisor team, specialists and other support staff. Our client relationships typically have an advisor and a financial planner assigned to them. You will be the lead advisor of client relationships that the firm hands off and new relationships that are cultivated by you. You may also team up with other senior advisors as needed to service ultra-high net worth Advanced clients who require more than 1 advisor.


If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, the advisor role has a high growth potential over time.


This position is based in Gallipolis, OH. We have multiple offices and are looking to grow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Current Client Relationships
    • Address current client needs, proactively uncover ways to deliver greater value to clients and empower their confidence to make financial decisions.
    • Develop and communicate financial plans and recommendations to clients
    • Supporting senior advisors with Advanced level clients.
    • Possess the analytical capacity to determine and recommend solutions in all financial planning areas in preparation for client reviews, including retirement needs, cash flow planning, investment strategies, estate/transfer solutions, tax strategies, insurance planning etc.
    • Develop and maintain great relationships with our clients
  • New Client Relationships
    • The firm brings in new relationships through marketing efforts, which you may have the opportunity to onboard and service.
    • You will be expected to bring in new relationships from your business, personal and social networks, as well as current client referrals.
    • The main way you will generate new relationships is by serving our clients, creating Raving Fans and asking for introductions.
  • Education
    • You will be expected to pursue Financial Education or continuing education for CFP and other applicable designations. We financially support work-related education expenses.
  • Team Member
    • Work with other team members to evaluate and/or /lead new firm-wide strategic initiatives.
    • Actively participate in industry/community organizations.
    • Promote our culture of optimism and happiness for both employees and clients.


Education, Experience and Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree minimum
  • 5-7+ years professional experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Highly analytical and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Track record of establishing and maintaining successful interpersonal relationships
  • CFP or desire to obtain within 18 months
