Job Title

Salary:

$25/hour for loading and unloading

HHG hauling: $0.60 per mile

Freight hauling: $0.50 per mile (all drive miles); retention pay at hourly rate

Sitting days: $200 per day while waiting for a load (reset days unpaid unless driving miles apply)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload shipments safely and efficiently according to planned routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate shipment documentation and complete all required paperwork and billing records.
  • Attend training sessions on company procedures, safety protocols, and moving best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate logistics and provide delivery updates.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, attendance, safety, and professional conduct.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of one year of household goods moving experience preferred
  • Ability to understand shipment paperwork, billing processes, and related documentation
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to undergo training, travel as needed, and comply with ongoing testing requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
