Vanity Fair is seeking a Creative Producer to join its fast-paced video team. This role partners closely with Creative Producers and Directors of Content & Development to conceive, produce, and direct high-impact digital video. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of executing premium, talent-driven content and a deep understanding of digital video production from concept through post.
This role reports into Vanity Fair's Director of Video Content Production.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Handles all production logistics for a shoot, working collaboratively with Senior Producer and Coordinating Producer when needed.
• Produces shoots with a strong editorial point of view and a clear understanding of the final edit.
• Directs shoots and leads Associate Producers to execute projects from pre-production through delivery.
• Capturing social video on iPhone with VF writers and at red carpet events.
• Serves as the creative and operational lead on shoots, driving projects from concept through completion.
• Leads creative direction on shoots, including concepting, art direction, and location selection.
• Maintains a strong understanding of video, audio, and graphics across pre- and post-production.
• Contributes creatively across projects and supports other producers and directors as needed.
• Collaborates effectively and incorporates feedback from stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of social and YouTube programming, audience development, and series building.
• Partners with programming and development teams to evolve and optimize series and formats.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Interfaces confidently with A-list talent and representatives, representing the brand with professionalism and discretion.
• Conduct interviews in the field, in-studio, or remotely.
• Manages brand and client feedback in a timely, professional manner.
• Oversees or supports post-production, including tracking deliverables, managing notes, and ensuring deadlines are met across cuts, graphics, music, and final delivery.
• Quickly learns new tools and workflows, with a commitment to continuous growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 3 years experience producing and developing digital videos on various platforms.
• A demonstrated track record in production execution.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Deep understanding of production and post-production workflows
• Fluent in capturing and shaping stories on iPhone, from the initial shoot to the final polished edit.
• Strong interest in pop culture, entertainment, and current events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Solutions-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
This is a guild position.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $87,000-$110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
