Job description

About Company:

Ian Morgan, the founder of HomeShield, had a dream of owning a company one day. Early on in his career he worked for another pest control company and saw that his ideas could really make a difference. He wanted to change the pest control industry for the better, so he got to work. In 2009, he started HomeShield Pest Control out of his parent’s garage.

After over 15 years of hard work and consistently listening to our customers, the company has grown to be what it is today: a company focused on creating peace of mind, making people happy, and genuinely caring for those it serves.

This has now become our mission: not to become the biggest pest control company, but to be the best pest control company. A company that is carving out its own space in this industry by:

  • Using the safest products
  • Offering the highest quality treatments by allowing service professionals more time with each customer
  • Focusing less on earnings and more on truly caring about the customer and solving their problems

We are in business every day to create happiness and peace of mind. These are the principles on which we built our company, and this is what continues to drive us today.

About the Role:

The Lead Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales department by managing incoming leads, ensuring accurate data entry, and facilitating smooth communication between prospects and the sales team. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and chat)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of leads
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Contact all incoming leads promptly and connect them with the appropriate sales representative
  • Input and maintain accurate lead information in the CRM and internal systems
  • Manage communication through chat, email, and phone to support lead flow and customer inquiries
  • Assist the sales team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks and coordination needs
  • Ensure leads are properly tracked, followed up on, and routed to the correct team members
  • Provide a positive and professional first point of contact for potential customers

Skills:

The Lead Coordinator utilizes strong organizational skills daily to manage complex schedules and ensure all project components align with deadlines. Effective communication skills are essential for facilitating collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and shared understanding. Proficiency in project management tools enables the Lead Coordinator to track progress, allocate resources efficiently, and generate insightful reports. Leadership and problem-solving skills are applied to anticipate challenges and implement solutions that keep projects on track. Additionally, familiarity with methodologies like Agile enhances the ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive continuous improvement.
