Location: Fort Worth, Texas - Hybrid

Job Overview
PTR Global is seeking an experienced UX Content Designer to support the Technology Strategy User Experience team of a leading airline. This role sits within a multidisciplinary UX organization responsible for customer- and employee-facing digital applications.
The UX Content Designer will partner closely with UX Designers, Product teams, and business stakeholders to create clear, consistent, user-focused content for an employee-facing customer service platform. This role combines hands-on UX writing with content strategy, research, governance, and enterprise content management.
The ideal candidate has experience creating content within complex digital products and can translate business, technical, and operational information into intuitive experiences for end users.
Responsibilities
  • Create and manage content for employee-facing digital products and customer service applications.
  • Develop content strategies that ensure relevant information is delivered clearly and contextually throughout the user experience.
  • Write and refine in-product content including instructional copy, error and confirmation messages, scripts, knowledge base articles, and other embedded product content.
  • Partner with UX Designers and Product teams to understand user behaviors, needs, pain points, and business requirements.
  • Participate in user research and use findings to evaluate and optimize content effectiveness.
  • Collaborate on content roadmaps and conduct content audits to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing content requests, development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Lead content governance and support enterprise standards for tone, voice, terminology, and messaging consistency.
  • Translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Develop content documentation and guidelines based on different user groups and use cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across UX, Product, Technology, and business teams to gain alignment on content needs and solutions.
  • Coach and mentor others on UX writing and content strategy best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience or training.
  • 5+ years of experience creating and executing digital content strategy across multiple channels.
  • Strong UX writing, content design, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience writing content for digital products, including instructional text, error messages, confirmation messages, taxonomy, and other functional product copy.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, easy-to-understand experiences.
  • Experience partnering closely with UX, Product, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of tone of voice, content standards, governance, and consistency across digital experiences.
  • Experience using research, user feedback, or performance insights to improve content.
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant UX writing, content design, or digital product content is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • Experience with content management or knowledge management systems.
  • Experience creating content for agent-facing, employee-facing, CRM, customer service, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting technical projects involving Generative AI or machine learning.
  • Travel, airline, hospitality, or transportation industry experience.
  • Experience with content audits, roadmaps, information architecture, taxonomy, and content governance.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Area
  • Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday (mandatory)
  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no H-1B, no C2C)
  • Duration: 1 year + highly likely extension
  • Portfolio: Required for consideration
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) after 60 days, plus applicable PTO and sick leave per state/local law
  • Pay Range: $60 per hour (W2)
