Caviar Concierge

Position Summary: The Caviar Concierge is a key brand ambassador who delivers elevated customer experience to both private and business clients through personalized service and expert-level product knowledge. This role handles in-person, pick-up, delivery, and shipping orders, while also collaborating closely with external partners such as restaurants, event organizers, and internal teams including Store Managers and the HQ Management team. The ideal candidate is passionate about gourmet products, especially caviar, and thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for caviar vendors, addressing product quality, pricing, availability, and operational concerns.

· Manage product ordering and replenishment cycles to ensure continuous stock availability.

· Track, order, and maintain inventory of packaging and non-food brand materials such as utensils, gift boxes, and promotional items.

· Provide hands-on training and onboarding for new team members to ensure service excellence and product consistency.

· Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of caviar and related gourmet products, including origin, taste profiles, storage requirements, serving suggestions, and shelf life.

· Deliver warm, professional, and personalized customer service aligned with NetCost Market’s standards of hospitality.

· Proactively educate customers, respond to inquiries, and recommend products based on preferences and needs.

· Set up and maintain merchandising and retail displays, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper FIFO rotation.

· Address customer feedback and recommend service or product enhancements based on recurring trends or requests.

· Maintain a hygienic and organized workspace that complies with DOH and internal sanitation standards.

· Monitor product integrity, including seal checks and refrigerator temperature tracking.

· Create and analyze sales and pricing reports, sharing performance data with store management and HQ Operations.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging social media content and promote seasonal or specialty items.

· Organize and execute tasting events, in-store promotions, and seasonal launches.

· Hire, develop, schedule, and oversee departmental staff, ensuring alignment with brand and service goals.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors, suggesting innovations or updates to product offerings and service strategies.

· Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

· Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or gourmet food service.

· Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing or quality issues.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Passion for high-end food products, especially caviar and specialty delicacies.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience with inventory systems, point-of-sale technology, and basic reporting tools.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.

· Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Multilingual skills (preferred but not required).
