Job description

The Lead AV Events Technician assists and supports the Manager of the Audio-Visual Department. They will manage the audio-visual team, read banquet event orders, and coordinate with various departments to meet their needs.    

Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • Address all guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Praise, discipline, and counsel staff as necessary to maintain positive morale
  • Seek council from management when needed
  • Maintain and clean all A/V equipment and supplies
  • Organize and assign work to others, maintain BEO Log accuracy, and advise others of changes
  • Bill clients accurately and verify pricing exceptions and modifications
  • Arrange shift scheduling if the manager is not available and confirm it
  • Attend staffing, catering, and any scheduled pre-conference meetings as needed

 Qualifications:    

  • Customer service experience 
  • Attention to detail
  • Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
  • Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
