Please note that this position is Permanent and is On-Site. No Corp to Corp or H-1B. Local candidates preferred.

Top Skills:

  • ISO Audits experience/Lead Auditor preferred
  • SPC, SQL and Power BI is a must
  • Experience in SAP
  • QMS - Quality Management System experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Someone who has had customer interaction or customer facing experience is a plus

Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced quality engineer in technical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the listed duties and responsibilities and to mentor others in the same.
  • Experience managing business-to-business customer relationships.
  • Bachelor of science in math, engineering, physical science, or a minimum of 7 years experience as a QE

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualified lead auditor ISO 9001.
  • Strong background in statistics and SPC.
  • Knowledge of materials science & surface characterization.
  • Data mining via SQL query and Power BI.
  • SAP

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead others in developing a culture of collaboration, compliance, and respect.
  • Collaborate within and across departments to improve the integrated management system (IMS).
  • Demonstrate leadership and judgement in the development of quality planning for products and manufacturing processes, including in new product introduction (NPI).
  • Lead cross functional teams in the development of systems and solutions to improve internal quality.
  • Lead the development of failure modes and effects analyses, and the design of improvements to address high risk priority numbers.
  • Perform measurement systems analyses and use the results to design improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis of quality problems in manufacturing.
  • Manage the customer complaint process, prepare corrective actions, drive successful implementation, and update the customer on progress and outcomes.
  • Drive projects to improve supplier quality.
  • Serve as lead auditor for compliance with ISO 9001, both internally and onsite at our suppliers.
  • Daily, monitor and report quality performance for a group of products and manufacturing processes
