Job description

Position Information:

  • .9 FTE
  • Hawthorne (2 Positions)
  • Sibley (2 positions)
  • Southwest (2 position)

Rate of Pay:

  • $16.83/hour-$22.23/hour (Based on candidate's experience) for information see the Para-Educator Association Contract

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass local Academic Proficiency Exam or have taken at least 60 hours semester credits at post-secondary level
  • Preferred experience working with children of differing abilities
  • Preferred experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral learning challenges, learning differences, and functional skills needs.
  • Must possess good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team approach
  • CPR and First Aid training / certification preferred
  • Educational qualifications: Equivalent of 2 years of college (AA degree) or passing score on Para Pro (460)
