Job Summary:
You will join our Air and Process Team and will assist with air quality monitoring associated with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs and other regulatory compliance activities in an industrial setting.
This full-time position requires a blend of strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, along with up to 50% travel to sites within the area. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods, as well as an ability to work comfortably at heights.
  • Due to the outdoor nature of the role, work occurs in all weather conditions.
  • This role involves approximately 40hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record and current driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
  • Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a strong desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.
  • Technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A basic mechanical aptitude and an independent work ethic.

Performance Metrics:
Environmental Technicians will be evaluated on the following key performance areas during their first year:
1. Field and Technical Execution:
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in assigned work.

2. Project and Team Support:
  • Follows project-specific instructions and communicates questions, issues, or deviations promptly.
  • Coordinates with supervisors, project leads, and team members to support project objectives.

3. Safety and Compliance:
  • Follows all safety procedures, training requirements, and site-specific health and safety plans.
  • Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
  • Performs work in compliance with applicable regulations, permits, and company policies.
  • Identifies and reports safety concerns, incidents, or near misses promptly.
