Job Description:

United Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in Soledad, CA, 93960. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and well-being of employees within various occupational settings. If you are a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for occupational health and safety, we invite you to apply.

Role and responsibilities:
The LCSW applies specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of prevention, assessment and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral and addictive disorders; engages in multi- disciplinary treatment planning and clinical social work interventions.

• Consultations about clients

• Initial mental health evaluations resulting in realistic treatment plans

• Assessing clients using standardized assessment/screening tools, measures, etc.

• Provide brief, solution focused therapy;

• Provide group psycho-education/treatment related to chronic medical conditions;

• Provide information and referral services;

• Care coordination

• Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions

• Provision of other services related to wellness

• Documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements

• Other related activities designed to provide integrated health care services

• Individual psychotherapy with children, adults and families

• Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record

• Provide psychotherapy to children and adults;

• Other duties as assigned
  

  Licensing Requirements:

• Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association Provider or American Red Cross (with AED)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree: Obtain a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. While a degree in social work (BSW) is beneficial, it is not mandatory for admission to a Master of Social Work (MSW) program.

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) : Like BSW programs, CSWE-accredited master's in social work (MSW) programs include a number of required core courses. Once those core courses are completed, students have the opportunity to select courses that focus on a specialty area of their choosing. If you want to work as a LCSW, some MSW specialization tracks you can consider are behavioral health, mental health and substance abuse, and the obvious, clinical social work. MSW programs can also prepare students to work in management positions within the field.
