Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO) team as a Principal Manufacturing Analyst based out of Elkridge, MD.
What you'll get to do:
  • Manage and provide schedule status visibility to program management, manufacturing, and operations program management
  • Collaborate/communicate with suppliers, MRP group, manufacturing, program management, and operations management to ensure performance metrics are met (schedule, quality, cost, delivery, etc.)
  • Identify and resolve issues with multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of workflow and adherence to customer schedules
  • Determine stock availability, assess material source (in-house vs external) and requirements for non-standard parts, and create acquisition requests
  • Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements
  • Initiate material procurement and manage procurement processing
  • Review material depletion analysis to provide specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment positioning
  • Manage and control asset locations and allocation of customer inventories and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
  • Monitor inventory and material allocations for accuracy
  • Support various DOD and commercial customers in a depot environment
  • Provide visibility reporting on repair and monthly metrics to leadership
  • Facilitate timely flow of hardware throughout entire Troy Hill campus from Induction to Shipment, and communicating progress to both internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on Repairs and Production execution.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or related field, Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or related field
  • Experience with MS Office suite with emphasis on strong Excel/data analysis skills, "digital visionary" a plus
  • Experience with critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects and/or roles
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately in a challenging environment
  • Experience in oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM certification
  • Prior production and/or repair planning experience
  • Experience working within a Depot environment supporting various DOD and commercial customers
  • Northrop Grumman tools related to job function (SAP, GOLD, ISE, Cadstar)
  • ERP business system experience (SAP preferred)
  • Proactive, analytical troubleshooter/problem-solver
  • Self-motivated multi-tasker

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
