Job Description

Visa's Technology Management organization is seeking an experienced Director of M&A Integration to lead the end-to-end integration of newly acquired entities into Visa's Corporate IT (CIT) ecosystem. This leader will be responsible for establishing a repeatable integration model that accelerates time-to-value while ensuring alignment with Visa's technology standards, security posture, and operational excellence.

This role will partner closely with Corporate Development, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Business Application teams to drive seamless onboarding, cost optimization, and technology rationalization across acquisitions.

The Work Itself
  • Lead end-to-end CIT integration strategy and execution for all acquisitions, ensuring timely, secure, and scalable onboarding.
  • Represent CIT in M&A due diligence, providing a clear point of view on:
    • Technology architecture and risks
    • Cost structures and ongoing run rates
    • Integration complexity and timelines
  • Day 0 (Pre-Close) Responsibilities
    • Lead CIT due diligence to assess architecture, applications, infrastructure, and security posture, identifying risks and integration complexity
    • Define the overall integration strategy aligned to deal objectives, including operating model, platform approach, and success criteria
    • Design target operating model (organization, governance, and support structure) for CIT post-close integration and understand CIT obligations under Transition Services Agreement (TSA) strategy, including scope, dependencies, and exit timelines
  • Drive Day 1 readiness, including:
    • Laptop and endpoint provisioning
    • Email, identity, and collaboration enablement (e.g., M365, SharePoint)
    • Initial access to enterprise systems
  • Oversee Day 2+ integration roadmap, focusing on:
    • Network, infrastructure, and AV readiness
    • Security posture alignment and gap remediation
    • Enablement of Visa-standard platforms, including GenAI/AI tools
  • Establish a structured approach to technology and contract rationalization, including:
    • Evaluation of existing tools vs. Visa standards
    • Identification of systems to retain, replace, or integrate
    • Contract consolidation and vendor optimization opportunities
  • Partner with Finance to perform cost modeling and synergy tracking, including:
    • Run-rate cost baselines
    • Integration investment requirements
    • Cost savings and synergy realization
  • Develop and maintain a standardized M&A integration playbook, including:
    • Integration checklists and templates
    • Decision frameworks for tool standardization
    • KPI and milestone tracking
  • Build strong partnerships across CIT, Security, Procurement, and Business teams to ensure alignment and execution accountability.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing integration team, creating a culture of speed, rigor, and continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • 8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's DegreeOR at least 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in technology operations, infrastructure, or enterprise IT environments
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs or integration efforts
  • Prior experience supporting M&A due diligence and post-merger integration
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Enterprise IT infrastructure (end-user computing, identity, network, collaboration tools)
    • Security and compliance considerations in integrations
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, cost modeling, and vendor/contract evaluation
  • Experience driving tool rationalization and platform consolidation at scale
  • Exposure to Generative AI or enterprise AI tool enablement
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

U.S. Applicants Only

The estimated salary range for this positionis $186,800.00 to $ 299,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
