Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team in Beloit, Kansas. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while delivering essential mental health services. The ideal candidate will hold a current LCSW, LCP, or LCMFT license, bringing a wealth of knowledge to assist patients dealing with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.

Work Environment

As part of our collaborative team, you will work predominantly in a remote setting, optimizing patient care while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic. While your daily schedule will mainly cover traditional office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to meet the needs of our patients. Our outpatient office environment promotes teamwork, continuous learning, and the provision of exceptional care to our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments that take into account the intertwining effects of chronic medical issues such as chronic pain and autoimmune disorders on patients' mental health.
• Develop and execute integrated treatment plans that holistically address both psychiatric and medical needs for effective patient outcomes.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient's unique context.
• Work closely with medical professionals to ensure coordinated care that leads to positive treatment results.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and welfare.
• Empower patients through education regarding the significant connections between physical and mental well-being, helping them manage their conditions effectively.
• Maintain confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to case discussions and collaborative care planning.
• Stay informed about advancements in integrated care and participate in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients grappling with co-occurring mental health and medical conditions, including those with chronic pain or substance use disorders. Our goal is to deliver compassionate care that not only treats symptoms but also enhances patients' overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LCP, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in addressing the unique mental health needs related to co-occurring medical conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies to manage patient information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or integrated care setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for individuals with diverse needs.
• Prior involvement in chronic illness management and understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health may enhance patient care provided.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
